God gives us all a choice
to be happy day by day...
we can dwell on past mistakes
or find peace along the way.
If we look to each tomorrow
with an optimistic view...
we gain a clear perspective
of what God wants us to do.
His plan is there unfolding
if we are patient from the start...
and soon He will reveal to us
the nature of His heart.
We can move ahead with courage
knowing God will be our guide
to a multitude of blessings
if in Him, we will abide.
Yesterday is gone
but today is ours to find
