He came to earth to give us hope,
for years, He felt our pain...
then the Father called Him home,
to be joined with Him again.
With gentle hands and loving heart,
the people followed Him...
yet He died alone upon a cross,
to save the world from sin.
His mother wept as she watched Him die,
her only Son was gone...
three days later, He rose again,
and new life had just begun.
throughout this life and forevermore,
remember what Christ has done...
He chose to give His life for us...
so our lives would go on.
Thank you, Father, for the gift,
that time cannot repay...
the love You gave us through Your Son...
lives in our hearts today.
