I Want To Be More Like You

Lord, give to me a heart of love
and make me more like you
show me what it means to be
obedient, kind and true.
I know I fail you daily
by the things I do and say
and I ask you to forgive me
and take my sins away.
Tomorrow let me start again
and help me see the light
renew the faith within me
as I search with all my might.
I want to find the treasure
that is waiting there for me
