A child is a blessing while here on earth,
a cherished gift from the moment of birth.
"On loan" to us, from God above...
to teach, to guide, but most of all, love.
Yet, we must remember from the day they are born,
we can't ever own them; they belong to the Lord.
Daily we leave them to His gentle care...
then continue to love them and keep them in prayer.
When worries invade us, as they often do,
let God intercede and bring peace unto you.
Worry, won't help, but prayer is the way...
entrust your children to their Father today.
"Be anxious for nothing," God gives us advice,
and we need to obey Him or we pay the price.
For worry is damaging to the heart and soul...
just give it to God and let Him have control.
Then trust Him to handle all things for our good,
you know it will happen, He promised it would.
Let go of the worry, let go of the strife...
and God will empower His peace in your life.
