Gazing, gazing deep into
A crystal clear reflecting pool
To see the beauty and the grace
And fall in love with your own face
Sometimes I think that I could be
Just like that yonder grove of trees
With trunks so tall and roots so strong
They stand up to the shining sun
And sometimes I am just a fool
Who lives in a reflecting pool
Without a body anymore
Just a voice like an echo
Sinking deep into the earth
Budding, blooming in the dirt
Petals open to a flower
Where once there stood a marble tower
