Hidden in the night,
We hold each other close,
And with blazing eyes locked,
You whisper thus:
"The strands in your eyes
That color them wonderful
Stop me and steal my breath,
Like emeralds from mountains
Thrust towards the sky
Never revealing their depth."
Such beautiful words,
My eyes grow bright
I kiss you gently on the lips,
And breathe with delight:
"Come, my dear,
Let us see how high
We can take this.
We'll fly into the night sky,
Kiss the stars together,
And achieve eternal bliss."
And after this,
We continue gazing,
Into each other
For a long time
In silence,
In communion.
Something has awakened in us
That is more than either one of us alone.
Words simply cannot describe it.....
